We are very excited to see the progress of our new trailer, built by TRT Ltd! This ESS House Relocation Trailer is the latest innovation from TRT Aust PTY LTD
We worked alongside TRT Ltd to help develop the first electronic lifting system combined with their new innovative automated steering system. Which ultimately reduces the stress on the building while being transported or raised.
ESS – Electronic Steering System
This new system will allow for all axles to steer in conjunction with the truck steering and by remote control for operator assist and crab steering. The steer axle is able to be steered to 35° either side of centre.
All axles will be controlled through an electronic sensed steering system. Each axle will be controlled individually by a hydraulic ram that will ratio the correct steering angle in unison with all the trailers axles. The various house trailer lengths (which can change by every pocket opening) will be programmed into the system to optimize steering angles.
In the electronic steering mode, the steering is controlled via the Prime Mover’s 5th wheel with special wedge lock fitted. This auto-steering mode can also be manually overridden to allow the operator to power steer the trailer without using the signal.
